Support Starts With Mom.
Every mother deserves a village — and modern life needs a modern way to bring one around her.
Meet Vida
Vida doesn’t wait to be asked. She notices, she offers — you just say yes.
Vida asks your village for you.
For most of history, mothers didn’t have to ask. A village noticed, and it acted.
That’s rare now.
As Mom’s assistant (and confidante), Vida learns what each person in your village is genuinely interested in supporting you with — then matches the right task to the right person, and asks them herself. Quietly, in the background. When your cousin says yes, Vida makes sure she hears how much it mattered, so the thank-you is already sent before you even think to send it.
Beyond the doing, Vida is who you can be completely unfiltered with. No performing “fine.” No managing anyone else’s feelings about your day — just someone who helps you make sense of what you’re actually going through.
Because this isn’t just her birth story. It’s yours too.
Our Belief
Motherhood was never meant to be carried alone.
People still care deeply. But life is busier, more scattered, and everyone’s stretched thinner than they used to be — which makes it harder to ask, and harder for Mom to feel like she’s allowed to. So she’s often left just pushing through.
The village didn’t disappear. Modern life just got in the way.
62%
of moms say it’s difficult to express the support they need.
90%
of people say they’d be comfortable helping her — if only she asked.

Your people want to help. They’re also holding back — because nobody wants to be the one who overstepped when you needed space.
Even when Mom’s not okay, she doesn’t say so. Research shows women downplay what they’re carrying because they’ve learned to see struggle as part of the job — and fear being judged for saying otherwise.

And by the time she finally does ask, she’s often too depleted to know what to ask for. Even something as small as “can you hold the baby so I can shower” can feel like too much to say out loud.
This is the gap we’re here to close.
It Used To Be Woven In
Our world has changed — and modern motherhood needs a modern way to lean on the people who love her.
Moms carry 79% of daily household tasks.

Dads carry 37%.

Dad has his own line to Vida too. He can talk through how he’s doing — and see the tasks that need doing before anyone has to point them out. He claims what he can, without Mom having to notice she’s overwhelmed, ask for help, or manage one more thing herself.
This is a place to say it all, unfiltered — met by people who are already looking out for you, physically and emotionally.
Modern motherhood shouldn’t feel this alone.
Imagine your village, rebuilt.
Tap yes or no.
That’s it — Vida handles the rest. You never have to send a single text.
Every offer comes to you first. Mom always has the final say.
A “let me know if you need anything” that turns into a task — handled, without you lifting a finger.
What We’re Building

Tell Vida how it’s really going.
She listens, and helps make sense of what you’re actually going through —
the identity crisis, the overwhelm, the overstimulation, the physical recovery.
Your birth as a mother.

Let it out. Raw. Unfiltered.
Mom can speak without worrying she should be able to carry it all — or that she sounds ungrateful for needing help.
Vida helps make sense of what you’re going through.
Vida helps make sense of what Mom may need emotionally and practically.
Care becomes action.
Think of Vida as Mom’s own assistant. From what Mom shares, she spots real ways to lighten the load, turns them into tasks her village can claim, and coordinates the details — texting, following up, even doing the asking. Mom never has to be the one who asks.
Vida turns willing hands into real help.
There’s a Place for You Here
Help us rebuild the village.
I may use what we’re building.
For pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and women preparing for another postpartum chapter.
I believe this needs to change.
For mothers, family members, professionals, advocates, and anyone who wants to help change how mothers are supported.
Bigger Than an App
An app is what we’re building.
Support Starts With Mom is what we believe.
We’re working toward a future where receiving support is a normal part of motherhood—not something a woman has to reach a breaking point to deserve.
Where “let me know how I can help” becomes something real.
Where mothers are cared for, too.
Join us if you believe the way mothers are supported should be modernized.

I’m building what I wish I had postpartum.
I had people who loved me and would have helped. But there was still a gap between having people who cared and being able to turn that care into the support I actually needed.
Much of postpartum happens internally. Mothers may minimize, filter, or never say certain thoughts out loud because they do not want to worry anyone, sound ungrateful, or feel as though they are failing.
I kept coming back to one question:
What if a mother had one place where she could say all of it exactly as it feels—and that support didn’t end with being heard? What if it could actually make something in her life lighter?
That question is what we’re building toward.
